The Newcastle West Primary Care Centre is proud to partner with the HSE and TUSLA on this exciting new Primary care centre.
The Newcastle West Primary Care Centre will bring together a broad range of medical services under one roof providing a comprehensive level of care in one centralised and accessible location to its local patrons. The mission of your new Primary Care Team will be to provide fully integrated primary care services of the highest quality to meet the needs of the local and extended community – a facility that will truly raise the standards of Community Welfare for you.
This 45,000 sq ft Primary Care Centre will feature GP clinics, Shannon Doc, dental surgery, radiology and ultrasound services, pharmacy and café.
It will also provide a wide range of community-based services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, ophthalmology, psychology, psychiatry, speech & language therapy, child health care and social work services. The PCC will have 120 dedicated car parking spaces including EV charging points. The project will start in quarter 4, 2020 and will be completed in quarter 1, 2022.
Partnerships
A Primary Care Team (PCT) is a team of health professionals who work closely together to meet the needs of the people living in the community.
They provide a single point of contact to the health system. The aim of the Primary Care Team is to provide primary care services that are accessible, integrated, of a high quality and which meet the needs of the local population.
